Teachers and people often ask, is too much sports viewing bad? Certainly, their argument is weak. Let me explain here why watching sports makes us smarter. And smarter, too!

By watching sports all the time, I know who beat who, which teams won, which teams lost, and all the scores. People who do not watch sports do not know all of these things. Than how can they be smarter then me? Non-sense.

Also, I know who will also be playing who. I believe it was Vin Scully who once said "Knowledge is power." If I know who is going to play who, and they don't, surely I am smarter.

I could go on and on and on and on but I won't. It is laughable.
