The Becker Sports Report is a Web Site of satirical sports journalism. Subject matter is eclectic, covering a wide range of sports subjects and personalities. Fresh stories will be added monthly to keep pace with pressing developments in the world of sports.

Sports journalism shares several similarities with the culture of competitive sports. For one thing, you’ve got to “come to write.” Sometimes, you’ve even got to “write hurt.” But always, you’ve got to give a 100%, even better, 110%. But the main thing, what it boils down to is, you’ve got to “execute,” and if you don’t, then you’ve got to be “accountable.”

Steve Becker accepts this responsibility as conceiver, chief writer and sole editor of the site. We welcome, incidentally, submissions from the public (see “Submissions” link); all accepted submissions will contain contributor by-lines. All other material—that is, all material without a by-line—can be presumed to have been written by Steve Becker.
